CASTOR OIL – RICINUS COMMUNIS (CASTOR) SEED OIL
Castor oil penetrates deeply into the skin, protects thus the body from environmental influences and stimulates the production of collagen. At this, it enhances the adhesion to the lips and gives the lips a nice shine. It stimulates the production of collagen of the skin, thus helping to prevent skin aging.
OLIVE OIL – OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL
The cold-pressed oil from the flesh of the olive is probably one of the oldest beauty products of mankind. Olive trees, which are amoung the very first cultivated plants of mankind, have been cultivated for at least 6,000 years. In terms of fatty acid composition, olive oil is similar to the human skin. In addition, it contains natural vitamin E, protects the skin from drying out and from free radicals.
BEESWAX – CERA ALBA (BEESWAX)
Equally, the completely natural wax of the honeybee has been used for ages for skin care. It is soothing and pleasant especially for rough, dry and irritated skin. With the development of petrochemistry, this classic, fragrant natural product was largely ousted by cheaper lipid substances. Not with us!
CARNAUBAWAX – COPERNICA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX
This wax is the leaf wax of the Brazilian carnauba palm, which prevents water loss and grows wild in Northern Brazil. It is considered to be the hardest vegetable wax. Carnauba wax acts water-repellent, protective and slightly film-forming. It helps to provide the skin with protection against external influences and contributes to the heat resistance of lip balms.
CANDELILLA WAX – EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA WAX) CERA
Candelilla wax is obtained from a shrub-type plant from the Euphorbiaceae family native to Mexico. The wax covers the plant as a protective layer. In the same manner as in the case of the plant, it protects the skin from losing moisture and makes it smooth.
BROCCOLI SEED OIL – BRASSICA OLERACEA ITALICA (BROCCOLI) SEED OIL
This silky, nurturing and smoothing oil originates from the fine seeds of broccoli, which is one of the more delicate types of cabbage. It creates a velvety light shimmer and, although it is scarce and precious, it is often used dropwise as luxurious, nurturing hair care.
